    The Harvest Moon rises in Earth’s
    shadow on September 23, 2018.
    Above it, the Belt of Venus glows
    faintly red. This photo was taken
    from Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia. The
    Mi’kmaq people of that region call this
    Full Moon the Moose Calling Moon.
