A Artists. Migrating birds frequently visit Auburn’s
Botanic Gardens. In Winter 2019 a flock of artists
from Studio A will join the migration. Based in Crows
Nest, North Sydney, Studio A make great art and
pave professional career pathways for artists with
intellectual disability. From June to August 2019, six
Studio A artists take inspiration from the gardens to
develop new work for exhibition at Peacock Gallery.
Inspired by the magic that can happen when diverse
minds and hands meet, Studio A will also work
directly with Cumberland Council’s local community
to collaboratively produce a new installation known as
Peacock Wallaby.
