Nomad Two Worlds Foundation
Indigenous Arts Scholarship
Applications all year round
The Nomad Two Worlds Foundation Indigenous Arts
Scholarship is a $20,000 grant awarded to emerging
Indigenous Australian and Native American artists to
support their professional development in Australia
and the United States. The scholarships are offered
to practitioners who show talent in the creative fields
of theatre, fashion, dance, film & television, music,
literary arts, visual arts, crafts and design.

Princeton Arts Fellowship
Applications close 5pm, 17 September 2019
The Princeton Arts Fellowships are awarded to
artists whose achievements have been recognised
as demonstrating extraordinary promise in any area
of any artistic practice or teaching. Applications are
open, but not limited to; early career composers,
conductors, musicians, chorographers, visual artists,
film makers, poets, novelists, playwrights, designers,
directors and performance artists who would find it
beneficial to spend two years teaching and working
in an artistically vibrant community at Lewis Center
for the Arts, Princeton University, New Jersey, USA.
Applicants can only apply for the Princeton Arts
Fellowship twice in a lifetime.

Hill End Artist in Residence 2020
Applications close 5pm, 31 October 2019
Visual artists, writers, curators, musicians, new media
and film and video artists are invited to apply for the
2020 season of four-week residencies at Haefligers
Cottage and Murrays Cottage at Hill End, located in
the Bathurst region in New South Wales. Hill End’s
distinctive blend of landscape, gold-mining history
and architecture continues to be an attraction for
generations of Australian artists.

Articulate Exhibitions
Program 2020
Articulate is an artist-run space located in Leichhardt,
Sydney and is calling for proposals for projects and
exhibitions for the 2020 program for experimental
contemporary art that has a focus on installation,
performance and related spatial and temporal

practice. Two spaces are available and are suited
to different types of work; Articulate project space
downstairs is 27 metres long and accommodates
larger installation, performance and related work,
and ArticulateUpstairs is a space suited to wall and
smaller works.

Can’t Do Tomorrow:
Urban Art Festival
Expressions of Interest close 1 September 2019
The ‘Urban Art Festival’ taking place between 20
and 29 February, 2020 at the Facility in Kensington,
Melbourne is calling for independent contemporary
urban artists to submit expressions of interest for
UNLEASH, this section of the three-sector festival is
offering exhibition space for 80 unrepresented artists
a place to show and sell their work. Overall more
than 100 artists, galleries, crews and collectives
will descend on the Facility, with UNLOCK featuring
established galleries and collectives exhibiting solo
and group shows, while UNLIMITED will feature
some of the biggest names in the underground urban
arts scene.

Rosny Farm Arts Centre
Exhibitions 2020
Applications close midnight, 18 August 2019
Clarence City Council is calling for expressions of
interest from artists who would like to participate
in the 2020 exhibitions program at the Rosny Farm
Arts Centre in Tasmania. Council aims to present a
diverse program that offers a balance of emerging
and established artists as well as a diversity of age,
background, gender, culture and ability. Practitioners
in any field of creative endeavor are eligible to exhibit,
including (but not limited to) visual arts, design, craft,
and fashion.

Sculptures in the Garden
Entries close 23 August 2019
Artists are invited to submit works for the 2019
Sculptures in the Garden exhibition, which will be
held on 12 and 13 October at Rosby Vineyard in
Mudgee, New South Wales. This outdoor exhibition
provides artists with an opportunity to exhibit
their works alongside local, regional, metropolitan
and interstate artists. There is a total prize pool of
$40,000 to be awarded with the winning works
acquired to become public art pieces. This not-for-
profit event will see proceeds go towards the joint
venture with Mid-Western Regional Council, with
the funds used for the purchase of public art for
installation in Lawson Park in Mudgee.
