The lavish wedding of Carmen Yim
and Jeffrey Char was a two-day affair
that had Hong Kong society out in
full force. Among the notable faces
celebrating with the couple were Angela
Leong, Eliza Fok and Lam Kin-ming.
Carmen, the entrepreneur behind
fashion e-commerce websites Goxip
and RewardSnap, was the star of the
affair, which started with a traditional
wedding ceremony at the Grand Hyatt’s
Tiffi n Lounge on a Friday afternoon,
where she and Jeffrey tied the knot in
front of family and close friends. The
wedding banquet was held the following
evening in the hotel’s grand ballroom,
which had been transformed with
thousands of roses and peonies. The
scent of fresh fl owers was a delight the
