LE PRUNIER OIL
This oil is just one thing: cold-pressed oil
from the pits of plums. It’s the brainchild of
two sisters in California whose dad owned one
of the largest organic plum farms in the region.
They noticed all these plum pits being discarded
andthought,‘Whatcould we
dowiththem?’Theydiscovered
thatplumpitoilhasincredible
moisturisingandskin-repairing
properties,especially when it
comesto fadingdark spots.
Thebestpart?It smells like
marzipan.

PENTAIR WATER FILTERS
My whole house is outfitted with Pentair
water filters. They’re the Rolls-Royce of
water filtration and get everything out: odour,
lead, particulates, chemicals, you name it. The
biggest coffee chains in the world use Pentair
to transform whatever water they have into the
most clean-tasting, healthy, goof-proof water.
The Pentair Everpure for your kitchen is the key
to having an endless supply of clean water;
even ice cubes come out crystal clear

MEGAFOOD TURMERIC
STRENGTH FOR WHOLE
BODY
I’ve had way less joint pain by making these
a part of my morning routine. MegaFood
harvests organic turmeric from the Hawaiian
island of Kauai and transforms it into nutrient-
dense flakes through the company’s proprietary

process. These flakes are combined with other
ingredients such as black pepper to help boost
the inflammation-fighting properties of turmeric,
and pressed into easy-to-swallow tablets. I take
two every morning and sometimes even feel a
warming sensation in my body when they start
to dissolve.

THE EARTH POLO BY
RALPH LAUREN
Ralph Lauren just hired its first chief
sustainability officerandhas
committed to be fully
green by the year

  1. The Earth
    Polo is made
    green by using
    fabric created
    from recycled plastic
    bottles; each shirtuses
    about 12 bottles.Butit’s
    more than just green:the
    food-grade nylonhelps
    the shirts stay wrinkle-
    free and won’t shrinkin
    the wash. I’ve stocked up.

RANCHO LA PUERTA
I’ve been to this destination health resort
in Tecate, Mexico, about 10 times and it
might just be heaven on Earth. It’s a fine-tuned
spa without the pretension—in a nutshell, it’s
Whole Foods meets summer camp. The morning
hikes into the mountains are the draw: a pitch-
black incline and rigorous workout rewarded
with a mind-blowing sunrise, mist and fog. A
variety of activities—including Pilates, yoga,
boot camp and sound healing—leave me feeling
younger, lighter and happier after a week.
