yourself.
Agata: “It’s funny how every
time someone asks me this
question, I find myself at a
loss for words. I was born and
raised in Poland and my career
in modelling started when I
was 14. My mother pushed
me to join photo shoots and
thankfully, my parents have
both been very supportive
of my career until today.”F: You’re 24 years old now
and you’ve been modelling
for almost half of your life.
Very few people find their
passion at such a young
age, but in your case, is this
the career path that you’ve
always dreamt of pursuing?
A: “To be honest, no. Very
few people would know
exactly what they want to
do at the age of 14 but I’m
happy that my parents put
me through this. It’s because
of the confidence they had in
me that has shaped me into
the person I am today. At 15,
I signed my second contract
and my parents sent me off
to New York with my agent to
take care of me. This job has
definitely taught me a lot and
I’m enjoying it to the max but
I don’t know if I’m going to
be doing the same thing
10 years down the road.”F: If you’re not modelling, what
do you see yourself doing?
A: “For now, I don’t have a set
path and I’m still trying out
different things to see where
life takes me. I don’t believe inpre-deciding everything but
what I do know is that there’s
no rush! Some people can
spend their entire life figuring
out what they love to do and
they might never discover it
but what matters most is that
they enjoy and get the best
out of the journey itself. I love
to model but I’d also love to
try acting because I’m tied
to an acting agency in Los
Angeles. My other plan is to
study fashion marketing in
Milan because my boyfriend
is Italian and it’ll be easier
for me to be based there.
Ultimately, I’d love to settle
down in one place, go to
university, have a normal
nine to six job and be happy
with whatever I’m doing!”F: Besides being in front of
the camera, what are some
of the other things that you
enjoy doing in your free time?
A: “I love to travel! I like
how that coincides with my
current job because I get
to visit different countries.
The joy mainly comes from
learning about new cultures
and meeting new people who
teach me different things cos
I’m always ready to learn
something new. Besides that,
I love to draw, play basketball
and volleyball and ride horses!”F: If you had a million dollars
right now, what would you
do with it?
A: “Part of the money will
be used for myself – to buy a
new apartment and continue

“The no-makeup makeup look. Back in the day, I used to
enjoy applying loads of cosmetics. But now, I go for the
simplest makeup that almost looks as if I’m not wearing
anything because I want people to see the real me.” - Her must-have beauty products
“Moisturisers, eye creams, oils and concealer. These
products are needed because I work long hours and
sometimes I’m in the outdoors a lot.” - Her go-to look on a normal day
“In the past, my wardrobe used to be filled with black
outfits. However, I learnt how to wear other colours
recently after my friend from Istanbul showed me how
much it can elevate one’s mood. My ideal attire for a
casual outing comprises high-waist jeans, high-heeled
boots, a T-shirt and leather jacket. To complete the look,
I’d slick on some red lipstick and I’m good to go!”

of happiness?
A: “Happiness is feeling
safe, being in love and being
surrounded by people who
support you in what you do
