DSM’s support and faith in the

brand was really the starting point of

it all and it was great to have that

acknowledgement from the begin-

ning. It gave me the faith that, with

Copenhagen as my base, I could still

create and establish an internation-

al womenswear brand that would be

known for the same qualities as are

Danish interiors and architecture.

What drives you in your work,

and life?

My work as a designer has al-

ways been a part of me. Femininity

and romanticism are part of my per-

sonality and designing clothes is my

way of telling this story. I am drawn

to the poetry and emotional appeal

of handmade and couture tech-

niques. Sculptural silhouettes are

always part of my design universe

and inspiration.

Where do you seek inspiration

for your collections?

I have always been drawn to em-

broidery and textiles development

and working with creating swatches.
