Using your Layered Peonies set

You will need
● Layered Peonie stamp
& die set
● white & grey cardstock
● copy paper
● vellum
● Claritystamp masking sheets

Simply make
1 Stamp the peonies
randomly all over a panel
of white cardstock, using
all three layering stamps to
create the full  ower.
2 Stamp the outline peony
several times on to copy
paper and use that to cut
out a mask. Cover each

of the  owers up when

stamping the leaves so

that they appear behind the

 owers. Add small stamped

elements to  ll the panel.

3 Heat-emboss the outline

peony onto a strip of vellum,

turn it over and add pencil

shading on the back to

create colour on the petals.

4 Add a second layer of

vellum under the stamped

layer to create more opacity

and help the stamped

image stand out from

the background.

5 Adhere the vellum strip on

the reverse of the  oral

STAX Pierced Heart dies

Simply make

1 Stamp the sentiment in

Fossilized Amber Distress

Ink on a square of white

cardstock, tessellating it to

create your own background.

2 Die-cut a heart towards the

top left of the stamped

panel and layer onto the

mustard cardstock, leaving

narrow borders.

3 Die-cut a smaller heart

from white cardstock and

stamp the sentiment

onto it. Mount the smaller

heart in the centre of

the aperture using 3D

foam pads.

4 Stamp two peony outlines

onto a seperate piece

of white cardstock using

Worn Lipstick Distress

Ink, then stamp the inner

image, shading detail in

the same colour.

5 Go back in with a damp

waterbrush to pull some

of the Worn Lipstick Ink

out across the petals,

then add further colour

with Fossilized Amber

Distress Oxide Ink.

6 Use the co-ordinating

dies to cut the peonies

and layer them up to

the right-hand edge of

the heart aperture using

3D foam pads. Embellish

with stamped leaves

to  nish.

cardstock, trim as shown

vellum, along with

enamel dots to  nish.
