Essential Rectangles diesSimply make
1 Cut an aperture into a
10.5x14.5cm mylar sheet
using a rectangle die. Place
the stencil centrally onto
a 10x14cm panel of white
cardstock and af x in place
using Washi tape.
2 Using the Cloudy Days stencil,
ink-blending tool and light
blue and pink ink, create a
cloudy background. Remove
all stencils and stamp the
sentiment onto the panel.
3 Adhere the inked panel onto
the front of the card blank
using 3D foam pads.
4 Stamp two babies and two
bunches of balloons onto
white cardstock, colour and
fussy-cut. Mount using 3D
foam pads and add white
gel pen highlights.card blank from white
cardstock, stamp the
rainbow and cloud backdrop
onto a slightly smaller
panel of white cardstock.
2 Mask off the bottom 3cm of
the panel and blend pink,
orange, yellow, green and
blue ink over the image.
Spray a light mist of white
pigment ink on top.
3 Remove all of the masks,colour the rainbow and clouds
using markers and stamp the
sentiment into the un-inked
section along the bottom.
4 Mount the background panel
onto the card front using 3D
foam pads to add dimension.
5 Stamp balloons onto white
cardstock, colour in and
fussy-cut. Af x to the card
front adding white gel
pen highlights. Always ink-blend
dark colours to light
to avoid lighter colours
being obscured Always adhere stencils
in place with tape to
avoid movement Use white gel pen to
add highlights to coloured
images, this creates the
illusion of depth Create custom-made
