Sentiment Strip die
1 Cut a 9.5x14cm panel of
white cardstock, carefully
place four layering dies
together and use low-tack
tape pick them up.
HOW TO:
master the basics of
the dry-embossing
technique
2 Place onto the panel, secure
to the embossing mat and
cutting plate, and run through
die-cutting machine.
4 Add Distress Oxide Ink
to a craft mat and spritz
with water. Trim a panel of
watercolour cardstock to
measure 10x14.5cm.
5 Place the panel of watercolour
cardstock into the diluted
Distress Oxide Ink, remove
and dry with a heat tool. Cut
a buttery from the centre of
the panel and set aside.
6 Cut the sentiment from
black cardstock, add glue by
spreading onto the back of
hand and carefully dabbing
the die-cut into the glue.
7 Layer the embossed panel
onto the watercolour panel
before securing to the
card front. Add the die-cut
sentiment, inked buttery
and sequins to nish.
3 Carefully remove the strip of
low-tack tape to reveal the
embossed area and set the
panel aside for later.
