or culture differences where we
can all sit down and share the
joys of creativity and laugh!

How would you describe
your creative style?
Having worked in the craft
industry for almost 20 years
enables you to develop and
nurture many different styles,
I can go from messy
mixed media
to clean
minimalism in
the same day
although I’d
say that the
latter is my
preferred style.

What is your
favourite papercraft
technique?
I love transforming a sheet of
pure white card using dies,
inks and paint. This often
makes the most satisfying
workshops too!

Why does the mixed-media
style appeal to you?
Mixed media is one of
those terms which is almost
impossible to de ne. To me

it is all about the freedom of
expression it allows where
you can make up the rules
as you go.

Do you have a crafting space
at home?
I’m very lucky to be able to
indulge my love of crafts
through my work. if I want
to create something
outside of work I will
stay late at the
of ce where I
am surrounded
by my craft
stash.

What’s the
most used item/
equipment in your
craft supplies?
My Big Shot machine is
the hub of my creative universe
as it has been for almost
15 years.

What products are included in
your basic craft stash supplies

  • what items could you not
    live without?
Taking away all of those things
    directly related to die-cutting,
    I couldn’t live without a good

“The thing that I love

a desire to highlight the many ways
to use die-cutting products”

craft mat, inks and acrylics,
a water spritzer and a natural
sea sponge. This list could go
on forever... I don’t travel light!

Can you pick one Sizzix
product from their huge
selection that you’d say is
your favourite?
The Framelits Circles die set
is the bedrock of any die-cut
collection no matter what
making style you prefer.

Where do you get your
inspiration?
I’m always on the lookout
for new techniques that I
can adapt for the world of
die-cutting. Inspiration can
strike anywhere and from the
most unlikely sources. The
Pinterest community is a great
creative springboard and a
wonderful resource.
