Behind the scenes

Inside...

What one item in your craft room
could you not live without?
I would not be able to function
without my Cricut®Maker
electronic die-cutting machine.
It has so many possibilities
and helps my projects have a
professional look and feel. It’s
something I use every single day!

What’s your favourite
storage solution?
I love storage solutions that
keep all of your craft tools and
supplies easily accessible but
also keep everything out of sight
or neatly displayed. My current
favourite storage solution is the
IKEA®Sunnersta Wall Organiser!
I have multiple around my craft
room, and I’ve paired them with
magnetic hooks to hold all of my
Cricut®craft tools so they are
easy to reach.

How do you organise
your products?
I am all about organising my
products by theme. I have all
of my similar products grouped
together in IKEA storage boxes.
I also have my patterned
papers organised by category
and what the theme of the
paper is. It makes everything
easy to nd quickly and I know
exactly where things should be
put away.

If you could only buy one more
item for your craft room, what
would you prioritise?
I would buy a fancy new digital
camera. I have an old DSLR
camera I use occasionally, but
if I had one that could be used
for video too it would be so
fantastic! Plus it would make
sharing my crafts, ideas and
projects a lot more exciting!

Do you tidy away your
products as soon as you’ve
fi nished creating, or tidy
up after it gets too messy
to carry on?
I’m a clean up when you’re
done kind of crafter. I can’t
focus if my craft room is a
mess, so I either have to clean
up as soon as I’m nished, or I
have to do it before I can start

a new project. It’s much easier to
craft when everything is put away,
you don’t waste time looking for
things because they aren’t where
they are supposed to be.

Where is your favourite place
to buy your craft room
solutions from?
Most of my furniture and
organising solutions are from
IKEA! I also love browsing through
The Container Store, or looking
on Amazon for new creative
ways to stay organised.

Do you like to have items on
display or hidden and out of sight?
I mostly like to have all of my

items put away out of sight.
I feel like having everything
on display is very chaotic and
distracting. Only the essentials
that I use constantly are out
on display or where they can
be seen.

How often do you re-arrange
your craft room?
I am always brainstorming
new ideas that will make my
organisation more ef cient and
easy to use, so it feels like I’m
always moving things around!
I just recently did a complete
overhaul of my entire craft room,
so it will be a while before I do
that again.
