orders. Speech-language pathologists are specialists who
diagnose and treat individuals with speech, language, voice,
literacy and fluency disorders.- Bachelor of Optometry (B. Optom)

ptometry deals with the in-depth study of the eye, vision
and diseases that affect the eye. An optometrist is taught
to be proficient in the science of eye care, including eye
examination, diagnosis, treatment and management of dis-
eases and disorders of the visual system. Students can be
a Clinical (patient related) Optometrist, Vision Research

treatment through safe and effective use of radionu-
clides. Training helps in acquiring adequate knowledge and
technical skills in the practice of radiography and medical
imaging and therapy procedures. Students gain knowledge
in Radiochemistry, Applied physics, Radiation physics and

Therapy (BOT)

ccupational therapy (OT) is a patient-centred health
profession. Therapists are concerned with promoting
health and well-being through occupations. Occupational
therapist can work in hospitals, rehabilitation centres, spe-
