S

tudents passing out of Indian Institutes of Manage-
ment (IIMs) have a reason to cheer as there has been a
rise in the average salary that is being offered to candi-
dates from most of the new IIMs as compared to 2018.
The range in the average salary is from marginal to a decent
hike. The top IIMs such as IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Cal-
cutta, Lucknow have not disclosed the average salary that has
been offered to its students during the placement drive. Let
us take a sneak peek into the average CTC that is offered to
students of some public B-Schools:

Though IIM Ahmedabad did not disclose the average sal-

ary secured by the candidates at the time of placements,

Prof. Amit Karna, Chairperson, Placements, said the robust-

ness of the programme could have made a positive impact.

ensures that recruiters get the best talent to hire for the

future leadership of their organisations. Second, our unique

placement process focuses on building a robust platform that

aims at facilitating the best fit between students and recruit-
