MONCHI returned to Sevilla as the club’s sporting director
after leaving his role as director of football at Roma, while
JOAQUIN CAPARROS moved across from his role as the
Spanish club’s director of football to become interim coach
following the departure of Pablo Machin.
Caparros will stay in the role at least until the end of the
season despite a recent diagnosis of chronic leukaemia.
