‘Everyone’s built differently.
We weren’t put on this earth
to be skinny, I’ve always felt
that,’ she explains. ‘I happen
to be skinny because that’s
how I was born – it was my
natural weight and size.’
With cosmetic procedures
all the rage these days,
Twiggy has one crucial
piece of advice – to
refrain from going
under the knife.
‘I haven’t had
anything done. I think
injectables are the
things to steer clear
of because they
make people look
so weird,’ she says.
For Twiggy, it’s clear
that life is about so
much more than the
way she looks.
Now, as a wife, mum and
grandmother – Carly has
a daughter Joni and her
stepson Jason has a son,
Solomon, it’s her health she
puts first – not her looks.
‘As long as you’ve got
your health, that’s the most
important thing.’
And that’s why she
finds the joy in each and
every birthday.
‘I’m very lucky – I’ve
got a husband who I love
and adore, I’ve got a lovely
kid and grandchildren,’
Twiggy says. ‘You can’t
turn back time, so you
might as well enjoy what
