Terms and conditions: This competition will run concurrently in Woman’s Weekly Fiction July issue on sale
23 May and Woman’s Weekly cover date 28 May. The closing date is 5pm on 31 July 2019. The theme of the
poetry competition is nature. The competition is open to any writer who has nOT had a poem published in
print before. Writers whose work has only been published online ARE eligible to enter. Poems must be original
and unpublished. You may enter more than once, and each entry must have the coupon (right) attached.
Please type your poem, using one side of the paper only. We are unable to accept entries via email or disk.
There will be three overall winners. The main winner will receive £150 worth of books and the runners-up
will receive £75 worth of books. The top three winners will each have their poem published in an edition of
Woman’s Weekly Fiction. no correspondence will be entered into. The judges’ decision is final. There is no
cash or other alternative to the prize stated and the prize is not transferable, and no part or parts of the prize
may be substituted for others. Winners will be notified within three months of the competition closing.
