LIN WEIWEN
has 10 years of
experience on the food
and wine beat, He has
built an enriching career
that includes reviewing
the latest restaurants,
picking the brains of
Michelin-starred chefs
and top winemakers, and
exploring high altitude
wineries in Argentina.
In 2013, he picked up
the Food Writer of the
Year award at the World
Gourmet Series Awards
of Excellence. Previously
the editor of this very
magazine, he is now
a freelance journalist
and travels to Japan
yearly to satisfy his love
for Japanese food and
culture.

MIA CHENYZE
mainly works the food
and lifestyle beat as a
freelance journalist, and
contributes to various
local and regional
magazines and websites.
She started her career
reviewing restaurants,
testing kitchen
appliances, and bugging
chefs for recipes and
taken-for-granted
cooking details when she
was at the now-defunct
Simply Her magazine.
She’s easily persuaded
when it comes to eating
and drinking, and she’s
always planning her next
meal.

HARNOOR
CHANNI-TIWARY
is a former brand-
marketer-turned-
food and travel editor.
Besides contributing to
numerous international
publications, She sits on
the panel of Singapore’s
Top Restaurants and is
currently working on her
next book, a food journey
through Southeast Asia.

JOYCE HUANG
was brought up on a
diet of books and family
dinner parties. It’s hard
to ascertain which came
first, Joyce’s love for
words or her infatuation
with food. Luckily, a
writing career that
started at local food
magazine meant she
didn’t have to choose
between either. Now as a
freelance food, wine and
travel writer, she can be
found in various corners
of the world digging into
streetside fare, trawling
museums and practising
hand signals with locals.

SIM EE WAUN
has been a food and
travel journalist for over
25 years. She started
her food writing career
in Wine & Dine magazine
and eventually became
the magazine’s editor in
the early 1990s. Since
then, she has helmed
other titles and has
also edited cookbooks
including the classic
series, Best of Singapore’s
Recipes by Mrs Leong
Yee Soo. She recently
co-authored The
Little Singapore Book,
a children’s book on
Singapore’s history, and
now juggles her time
between the two genres.

PRIYANKA ELHENCE
is a freelance writer
with over five years
experience, She
currently contributes to
several local print and
online titles spanning
food, parenting and
lifestyle. She grew up in
Kenya and has lived in
seven different countries
around the world. Now
based in Singapore, she
spends most of her time
bashing away at the
keyboard and travelling
to off-the-beaten-path
destinations.
