The recreation zones such as the cafeteria and amphitheatre have
been designed to resonate positivity and encourage collaboration
for larger team building activities. These spaces give employees a
number of seating options - chairs, barstools, the dramatic auto-
rickshaw seating, and stepped seating in the amphitheatre. Overall,
these zones will give the employees a much-needed break out space
that not only refreshes them but also creates a sense of fun that helps
employees bond.
Overall, the design is very global in its treatment, something that
ties back to Bosch’s global presence. The formal work areas, the
meeting cabins etc. are all very modern in their design, and yet
have an emotional quotient that most offices lack. The introduction
of greenery into the very industrial chic vibe the office exudes is a
comforting, relaxing element that, along with the auto-rickshaw- and
scooter-based furniture is a strong callback to the city the office is

based in, Pune. The design is thus a successful translation of the
client’s brief into a living, evolving building that really focuses on
the wellbeing of its employees too while not discounting the global,
professional character an office building is expected to evoke.
Break-out zone.
