MUSIC ON THE ALBUM
In January, Jesse tricked
fans by dropping a reggae
song, featuring him singing
about weed. “Calm down,
I’m not doing reggae...
yet,” he posted after a
mild uproar from fans.
Thankfully it really was just
a joke, and Atonement is

our history as a band,
as well as pushing things
just a touch,” said Jesse
after listening back to
the 11-track effort for
the first time. “It is a
pretty amazing feeling

August 2017, Killswitch
Engage revealed to the
world that they were
demoing for a follow-up
to 2016’s Incarnate. And
now, two years on, it’s
finally been announced.
The Massachusetts
metallers’ eighth full-length
goes by the name of
Atonement, and drops
on August 16, via Metal
Blade Records.
