here’s a new resident in
town for the summer over at
Quincy Jones’ Q’s Bar and
Lounge. In the luxurious
sound-proofed all-leather interiors of
the jazz club over at Palazzo Versace,
soul siren Brenna Whitaker takes to the
intimate stage with her larger-than-life
presence and haunting vocals.
A favourite jazz and blues act with
many of Hollywood’s celebrities,
Whitaker regularly plays to audiences
at the W Hotel Hollywood’s famed
Sunday night jazz sessions – which

she helped to start. Audiences there

include Stevie Wonder, Tom Jones and

Gladys Knight, as well as the younger

generation such as Katy Perry, Justin

Bieber and John Mayer, who all enjoy

soaking up her stunning performances.

Whitaker travels the world with her

band and she recently sang on Andrea

Bocelli’s American Tour. She has also

recorded for the new We Love Disney

album and her cover of Sam Sparro’s

Black and Gold was featured on the

finals of the American TV show, So You

Think You Can Dance.

The setting for her regular

performances will be as intimate as

if she was singing to you in your own

living room. With the addition of

Whitaker on his long line-up of top-

class resident acts, Quincy Jones is

continuing his legacy of paving the

way for the next generation of stars.
