hunt on one’s own.
The size and number of trophies depends, of course, on
what the hunter is willing to pay, but with the help of
Poland’s excellent professional hunting organisation, it is
always possible to deliver exactly what a hunter is seeking
and it is essential to discuss this with the hunting agency in
advance. Of course, there is never a guarantee of high
quality heads, but hunters working with Korsholm are
always sent to the areas renowned for outstanding trophy
animals. The agency’s finest roe buck areas are located near
Malbork in north Poland and south-east of Lublin in south-
eastern Poland.
The best two periods for successful hunts are the first two
weeks of the season, which is from 11 May to 30
September, and the first 10 days of August during the rut.
Obviously, one cannot always guarantee a really good trophy
head at this time and luck always plays a part, especially
when hunting near Malbork. It is almost impossible to stalk
the vast 300ha maize and rape fields in May.

Hunting guests can choose between luxurious 5-star hotels
or simple accommodation in a local forester’s house or in a
small local guesthouse, with good service and food.
It is the custom to tip the stalker (or beaters and
organisers during driven hunts), the translator and kitchen
