An earthquake moved the Big Baan
forest such that it’s now wedged between
another forest, snowy mountains and other
territories. How will the animals of Big Baan
deal with their new neighbours? The same
neighbours that they compete with for
control of the sole watering hole? There's
Pu'rani, a giant turtle, who believes
herself to be the true ruler and Ranga, a
rhino who lives in the watering hole.
Chamataka, what
are you up to?
Why do you
care, Doob
Doob?
I don’t. I’m
just feeling
bored.

Oh no! That’s
Kaboo. He is so
annoying. He
never shuts up!
You pesky
pigeon!
Sorry about
that! I’m in a
hurry to meet
my friend, Kal.
Kal is new to
the forest. Such a
smart crow! I’m sure
we’ll be best friends
in no time!
Kal? A
smart crow?
Oh no. I think
he means...
Kalia!
Oh, he’s your friend
too? That’s great,
we can all-
I have better
things to waste
my time on.
I’d better
think of a way
to get rid of
Kalia.
Meanwhile-
Big Baan
looks different
from when I went to
visit my cousin’s forest.
I should ask someone
for help.
Hello there! Could
you kind folks tell
me the way to the
watering hole?
It’s this
way!
No, puru*,
that way!
No, uttu*,
here!
Pushu*, you idiot,
it’s this way!
*Uttu, Dakku, Puru and Pushu are Pu’Rani’s directionally-challenged
monitor lizards who carry her wherever she needs to go
