The Foxy Rabbit

Based on a folk tale from southern United States

Ho-hum,
Br’er Fox. I
feel too lazy
to come out
now.

Besides, I bet I’d have
better things to do than
gather food with you.

I’m sorry you feel that
way, Br’er Rabbit. I’m
off now. See you later.

That evening... {YAWN} What
a lovely, lazy
day I’ve had
on my porch.
It’s time for
Br’er Fox to
return. I
should look
out for him.

There he is!
Looks like he had
lots of good
luck today. His
bag seems full
of food.

Time to
trick him
of it!

*Short for brother, as pronounced in southern United States in the 19th century
