• 18" Square pale lilac


• 18" Square cream


• Fat quarter solid pale lilac


• 20" Square thin wadding


• 20" Square thin cotton or muslin


• 2m Piping cord


• Thin embroidery thread e.g.
  coton a broder or perlé


• Template plastic or thin card


• Removable fabric marker


• Walking foot


• Zipper foot


• 16" Cushion pad

QUILTING

The design for this cushion is based on traditional Welsh quilting patterns. Some

of the Welsh quilt designs are based on overlapping semicircles. Where these

curves overlap, new shapes are formed creating areas for more quilting patterns

to be stitched. The quilting is done by machine with the addition of hand big

stitch quilting to add more texture.
