CUTTING

Cut across width of fabric

1. From Turquoise Storm cut:
   two, 2" x 21" strips sub cut into:
   eight, 2" x 5" strips.


2. From Turquoise Trees cut:
   three, 2" x 21" strips sub cut into:
   twelve, 2" x 5" strips.


3. From Turquoise Animal Scatter cut:
   two, 2" x 21" strips sub cut into:
   eight, 2" x 5" strips.


4. From Cream Leaf Ditzy cut:
   three, 2" x 21" strips sub cut into:
   twelve, 2" x 5" strips.


5. From Green Foxes cut:
   two, 2" x 21" strips sub cut into:
   eight, 2" x 5" strips.


6. From Orange Doodle Ditzy cut:
   two, 2" x 21" strips sub cut into:
   eight, 2" x 5" strips.


7. From Yellow Doodle Ditzy cut:
   four, 2" x 21" strips sub cut into:
   sixteen, 2" x 5" strips.
   8. From Green Leaf Ditzy cut:
   two, 5" x 21" strips sub cut into:
   eight, 5" squares,
   two, 2" x 21" strips sub cut into:
   eight, 2" x 5" strips.
   9. From Antique White Spectrum cut:
   two, 2¾" strips,
   seven, 2" strips.
   10. From Green Leaf Ditzy cut:
   five, 2½" strips – binding.

PIECING

Use ¼" seam allowance throughout

1. Take Forest panel and trim panel
   leaving ½" excess beyond edges of
   printed boxes on each side.
   2a. Take two, 2" Antique White Spectrum
   strips and trim strips so they measure
   2" x 39½".
   b. Add strips to opposite sides of
   trimmed panel.
   3a. Take 2¾" Antique White Spectrum
   strips and trim strips so they measure
   2¾" x 26".
   b. Add strips to top and bottom edges of
   panel to complete inner border.
   4a. Trace circle template given full size
   on Pattern Sheet eight times onto paper
   side of fusible web.

b. Cut out each template around outer

square lines.

5a. Following manufacturer’s

instructions, iron fusible web squares

to wrong side of 5" Green Leaf Ditzy

squares.

b. Ensure each fusible web square is

centred on green squares so there is a

½" excess on all four sides, dia. 1a.

c. Carefully cut out centre circle on each

square, dia. 1b.

6a. Take Cream Scene fabric and fussy

cut eight, 4" squares so chosen motifs sit

in centre of each square.

b. Position each square wrong side up

on wrong side of each 5" green square,

dia. 1c.

c. When happy with position of cream

squares, fuse them in place, dia. 1d and

illust. 1.

ASSEMBLY

1a. Refer to quilt layout and join four

sets of thirteen, 2" x 5" strips together

for side borders.

b. Join two strip sets to opposite sides

of one green ‘cameo’ square, taking care

with orientation of square.

c. Add pieced borders to opposite sides

of quilt top, illust. 2.

a. Fuse fusible web to wrong side of square

c. Position cream square on wrong side,

wrong side up

b. Cut out centre circle

d. Complete square
