115here we all were, sitting in the terminal at
Newark Liberty International Airport about
to embark on our first ever mega Euro tour.
The guys from LA had already been at it for six
hours en route to the East Coast. Eighteen dudes, 18
days, four cities: Lisbon, Madrid, Stuttgart and Berlin.
None of us had any idea what the next two-plus weeks
had in store for us. This was the first time we’d traveled
as a whole team and I’ll tell you, prior to launch, I’d
never felt so much excitement and terror at the same
time. I take that back—I used to love gambling.
Touring is a lot like gambling—it’s an emotional
rollercoaster that you can’t get enough of. I hoped we
