Victoria, Robert comes

up with an idea to

expose his true colours – and not

a very bright one.

He pays Dawn to flirt with the

sick salesman at a pub that has

CCTV; his theory being that Lee

will come on too strong and his

bad behaviour will be caught on

camera. But he fails to give two

hoots about the fact that the

vulnerable blonde could

become Lee’s next prey.

Robert previously

backed off from his

revenge plan, but Vic’s

decision to flee the

village has refuelled his

quest for justice. When

he overhears Dawn

complaining that she

needs money to support her

son Lucas, his ears prick up, and

he offers her £500 to get Lee

interested in her.

‘Initially, Dawn thinks it’s

ridiculous,’ says Olivia Bromley,

who plays the ex-prostitute

and recovering drug addict.

‘She’s angry that Robert

would even suggest it.’

But Robert keeps

pushing, and although

Dawn is concerned when he

outlines the full details of his

honeytrap plan, she eventually

agrees on the proviso that he

coughs up more cash.

‘It’s 100% about the money

for her,’ adds Olivia, ‘but Robert

also lays it on thick about how

she would be helping Victoria.

Dawn has been in abusive

situations in the past, and he

knows that she would want

someone like Lee behind bars.’

Later, Dawn heads out to a

pub where Lee is with friends,

and ‘accidentally on purpose’

bumps into him. ‘She flirts with

him, and he’s very charming,’

reveals Olivia. ‘She just wants

Robert to come, and for her part

to be done, so that she can leave.’

But as she feigns interest in the

sleazebag, Lee suggests they get

to know each other somewhere

more private, and Dawn fears

she has no choice but to agree.

Back in the village, Aaron is

horrified when his husband tells

him what he has done, and dashes

out with Robert in tow, to put

a stop to things. But Dawn has

already left the pub and is with

Lee in an isolated spot. ‘She starts

thinking, “I’ve got myself in deep

and I’m all alone,”’ says Olivia.

Can the pair reach her before

sick Lee strikes?
