s ex-copper Jack about
to find himself on the
wrong side of the law?
It certainly looks that
way when his old mate Muski
warns him that the police have
him in their sights for the brutalattack on Fraser – the gang
member who raped Tiffany.
Muski’s news comes at the end
of a difficult day for Jack, whose
attempt to find Rainie has gone
belly-up. The brunette is AWOL
with baby Abi and the contents
of his bank account, and
just as Jack and Max
are starting to wonder
if they’ll ever see her
again, Jack spots a hotel
logo in the background
of a photo she has sent,
giving them a lead on
her whereabouts.
Over at the hotel,
Rainie has met a guest
called Michael – who
has spotted her bag
of loot. She’s about to
check out when she
spies the brothers
arriving, and legs itto her room. The pair knock on
her door, but are left despondent
when Michael answers and denies
any knowledge of her. Rainie’s
grateful for her friend’s help, but
when she makes to leave, she
realises her money has vanished- has Michael swiped it?
Without Jack’s £75k in her
handbag, Rainie’s forced to flee
from the hotel without paying.
Homeless and penniless, she
resorts to desperate measures
to earn a few quid.
Back in the Square, cash-
strapped Jack pushes Adam
to exchange early on the sale of
the flat. He’s stressing about his
money woes when Muski tells
him that he’s a wanted man...
The following day, with Tiffany
aware of Muski’s visit, Jack feels
obliged to come clean to his niece
about what he did to Fraser.
‘Max overhears them talking
and points out the seriousness of
the situation, prompting Jack to
ask Denise to give him an alibi,’
reveals our Walford mole.
‘But Denise is reluctant to get
involved without knowing the full
story, and when Jack won’t give it
to her – so as not to break Tiffany’s
confidence – Denise refuses to
help and ends their relationship.’
Things look bleak as Jack then
discovers the cops are coming.
Max urges him to go into hiding,
but can Jack scarper in time or
will he be carted off in handcuffs?The ex-copper is warned he’s in big trouble for attacking rapist Fraser
