a new study from the
University of Iowa found
that just one hour a
week of resistance exercise is
enough to reduce the risk of
having a heart attack or stroke by
40 to 70%. Researchers looked at
data on almost 13,000 adults and
found that even a few minutes of
strength training a week is enough
to prevent cardiovascular
problems.
