OverlandExpo.The coupleboughttheirLand
RoverDefendersightunseenfromstrangers
on the internetin Ethiopia,and with hundreds
of remotecampsitesand thousandsof miles
of Africaalreadyundertheirtires,they are

City.Afterlivingin the MiddleEast,Europe,
Canada,and Colorado,he returnedto Utah
to put downroots.Bothhis fictionand non-
fictionhavebeenpublishedin magazinesas
well as online,and he is currentlyfinishingan
adventure/crimenovel.Whenaskedabout
his magneticsenseof humor,he only replied,
“I wantto becomethe eccentricbillionaire
withoutall the money.”Currently,Steven
ridesa 2017BMWR 1200GS Rallyeand
spendsmostof his time exploringthe West,
including Baja California, Mexico.

Topher’sbackgroundis in musicand entertain-
ment.Duringhis 20s, he was in a bandsigned
to UniversalRecordsand performedin the
Glastonburyand iTunesfestivals.He wentto
schoolin Switzerlandbeforemovingto London
for 10 years.He thenreturnedhometo live in
Queenstown,NewZealand.Bridgetgrewup in
Fiji and NewZealand.Onceshe finishedhigh
school,she movedto Londonfor five years.
Her backgroundwas in marketingand website
development.Bridgetand Topheronly met
one anothera few monthsbeforethey began
theirthree-yearglobalexpeditionknownas
ExpeditionEarth.Despitebeingin Londonat
the sametime,and Bridgetevenattendingone
of Topher’sgigs,they only met once they had
moved back to New Zealand.

more,coveringstoriesfromhumantrafficking
