Event
80 July 2019 MiniWorld
and Cornish Mini Club judges began
assessing the beautiful Minis deserving
of the gleaming trophies. The weather
turned a little chilly by the time the
trophies were awarded so we were all
pleased to get in our Minis to experience
some breathtaking Cornish scenery.
The Sunday afternoon Mini cruise is
the highlight of the weekend for many.
This year it took Minis back to the
Run’s old stomping ground of Newquay
and some lovely coastal villages.
Then everyone went back to
Pentewan to enjoy the evening’s
entertainment and the Glow Show.
Those staying for a few more
days were able to enjoy two more
fantastic Mini runs featuring perfect
driving roads and delicious Cornish
food: the Fish and Chip Run on the
Monday and the Mini Mick Cream
Tea Run on the Tuesday.
Next year’s event will celebrate the
25th anniversary of the Riviera
Run over the weekend of 1-4 May.
