Event
86 July 2019 MiniWorld
into the early afternoon and the Drive
gradually fi lled up with Mini owners
buying goodies at numerous trade
stands. There was a good mix of club
stands from the Mini Moke Club to
the Gay Classic Car Club who had a
beautiful rainbow of Minis on display.
LSMOC uses the event every year
as an opportunity to raise funds for
charity and this year’s benefi ciaries
were Canine Partners and The Diamond
Centre. The charity total was £3222
which LSMOC has boosted to £5000!
After displaying their stunning
Minis for show visitors, the Show and
Shine competitors awaited the results.
There were plenty of smiles for the
camera for those walking away with
silverware. Alas there was no trophy for
Subby but hey, that’s show business!
Minis slowly left Brighton with many
tales to tell about a fi ne weekend with
many already looking forward to next
year’s event on 17 May 2020.
