whowasresponsibleforpenningtheearly
TWRGroupCJaguars.
JaguarfanstravelledfromallovertheUK,
aswellastheUSAandmainlandEurope.One
owner,TorBottolfsen,drovehisTWRJaguar
XJ12allthewayfromNorwaytoattend.In
recognitionofthis,hewasawardedthefirst
TrustTrophyfromtheJaguarHeritageTrust
forhisrarecar,oneofjustsix.
Speakingaftertheevent,theJECgeneral
manager,JamesBlackwell,said,“Wehad
highhopesfortheeventatBlenheimPalace
that,onthedayofthefestival,exceeded
allourexpectations.Itwasareallyspecial
day,madeperfectbytheglorioussunshine
andtheelegantlygrandsurroundingsthat
perfectlycomplementedthevastarrayof
classicJaguarsondisplay.Itwasgreatto
seesomanyhappyfacesenjoyingourfilm
andTVcardisplays.”
