Feenix Signs and Graphics in
Wisbech did the livery, and the truck
was painted in the company’s light
blue before transfers were added.
Other trucks tend to be wrapped with
vinyls and graphics, however. The
truck went on the road in late
January, so it is a technically a
68-plate.
There is no doubt the Scania is a
stunning looking truck. It’s been
customised to a sensible level without
going over the top – indeed, it won
three awards at the recent Truckfest
show in Peterborough.
The DAF is more conservative in its
appearance, though the distinctive
Thory livery certainly suits it. But we
do wonder if a lot of white is really
the most sensible livery for a truck on
this kind of work! However, the
drivers take pride in the vehicles and
ensure they are always well turned
out and looking good. ■
