American artist John Wentz works between the USA and France. We
chatted to him about his art career.

Where did you study?
I received my BFA from The Academy of Art University, in San
Francisco.

I see you work between USA and France, but where are you based?
I am based in Paris, France. I work in a co-working space in the 11éme
called Onzième Lieu. I have an open studio with my girlfriend who is
also a painter and 5 other artists. We each have a section that is open
which facilitates dialogue and socialising. I really enjoy it because
there are artists with different styles and from other disciplines. I
don’t feel like I’m in an echo chamber.
