ARE THE JOURNEY
As a self-taught artist, Louis
is at home with various
art materials. Having been
exposed to the arts by his
father from a very young age,
he has acquired a keen eye
for colour and composition.Art materials have been his
close companion throughout
his journey of making and
assisting in the making of art.Being involved in graphic
design since 1994 has been
a significant benefit to his artistic development. Currently, Louis
assists and teaches art basics, principles and workflow in his
hometown, Secunda in Mpumalanga. He was recognised as a top
100 - Sanlam Awards Portrait Artist in 2017 and closer to home,
Eisteddfod - Best Painter Artist Open Class in 2017.
Louis is currently involved with the launch of the exciting FunArt@
Bally project, where art is made from a beginner level.
