Essentials South Africa – August 2019

(Brent) #1

you’LL need: a plain sideboard

Remove the handles, sand the sideboard
all over and wipe free of any dust. Use
ready-mixed paste to stick washable
wallpaper onto the sideboard’s front,
sides and legs. Apply some decorator’s
varnish to protect the wallpaper, then
leave to dry. Cover the top with laminate
flooring, trimmed to fit and stuck down
with high-strength contact adhesive.
Paint the knobs grey and screw them
back onto the sideboard.
