children born globally with congenital heart
disease (CHD) and there was nothing you could
do to save them...Despite CHD’s being diagnosed and treatable,
thousands of children in South Africa continue
to die every year. With limited finances and
resources, all parents can do is wait as their
child is placed on a surgical waiting list that can
be up 1000 patients long.But the Children’s Cardiac Foundation of Africa
wants to ensure no child born with congenitalheart disease should ever be denied
treatment simply because they cannot
afford it. With leading cardiac surgeon
Professor Robin Kinsley at the helm, the
Foundation aims to treat 300 children over
