EYE FOR A BARgAIN

When it comes to furnishings, Gemma is a bit of a bargain
hunter and found a lot of the pieces for the house online
and through Facebook groups. ‘Making the house personal
to us has been a natural process and I only buy things that
I feel drawn to, not trends that shops tell me I should buy.
Transforming our house from an empty shell into somewhere
we can call home has been worth the wait and I now can’t
imagine living anywhere else,’ says Gemma. ‘The living space
in particular has come together over time and it’s my favourite
place to unwind and kick back after a long week.’

‘Mixing interesting cultural pieces

with organic materials gives you

a striking bohemian look ’

The kitchen has a modern feel.

The bathroom is full of fun details,
including the ‘get naked’ bathmat, which
is one of Gemma’s favourite pieces.
