have been adapted intoanew story for the stage. The

booksfocus on Mildred Hubble,aclumsy butcourageous

student ataschool for witches.

The play tells the story of accident-prone Hubble and her

fellow pupils, who leaveatrail of mayhem behind them as

they find themselves at thecentreofabattle that’sbeing

fought for their future.

The team behind the show say they have created a

brand-new story as well asrevisiting moments from the

books. The show includes original songs, music, magic and

adose of Mildred’sunique brand of chaos.

Murphy said herfavourite thing about Hubble is

that she never gives up and she always tries to be

nicetoher friends. She toldTheWeek Juniorthat sh

is pl eased with theresults of the new show andcan

to see it again.“I know it’sashow based on my own

but Ithink it is the best children’sshow I’ve ever see

said.“Itreally has got everything–wonderful actin

wonderful music, nail-biting broomstick sequences,

joyful dancing, and it’svery funny.”

The show is on from 24 July to8September at
