ReportssuggestthatWaititi stopped working on
another project in order to direct the next Thor film,
which iscalledThor:Love and Thunderandisdue
outinNovember 2021. It’splot will be based on a
comic-book story from 2014 in which Dr JaneFoster
(last seen in 2013’sThor:The DarkWorld)takes overThor’s powers and hammer when he loses them.
Foster will use the name Mighty Thor.
Details about other MCU projects were
announced atComic-Con in San Diego,US, between
18 and 21 July.These included new filmsEternals
(out November 2020)andShang-Chi and theLegend
of theTenRings(outFebruary 2021).
Therewill also be new TV shows based on the
