Kitchen Party

THE CANADIAN Culinary Championships held

in Kelowna, BC on February 1 and 2, 2019 was

the culmination of a year-long search for the

nation’s most talented chef. Competition was

extremely tight, with all eleven participating

chefs still in a pack at the finishing line. In

the end Chef Yannick LaSalle of Les Fougères

in Chelsea, Quebec, gold medallist at the

Ottawa-Gatineau Kitchen Party, became

the new Canadian Culinary Champion, — a

hugely popular and well-deserved victor.
