Anyway, I got tonsillitis two days later, just to
top it off, probably because of the stress and
because I’m a bit run-down. Happy days, eh?
Add to that, the backlash you got for
advertising a webcam modelling agency.
What was that about?
I have no idea why that became a thing – I’ve
posted that ad before! Loads of other people
have done it, including Stephen Bear, a lot of
the Geordie Shore lot – and I wasn’t getting
paid for it, I was helping out a mate of mine.
Would you ever be a webcam girl?
I’d make a fortune! [Laughs]. No. I don’t see
the problem with it. I just don’t need to do it.
I do raunchy shoots and stuff, but it’s not for
me. Fair play to the girls who do it, but I’m in
the public eye and that’s not my job title. I’ve
become a lot more confident as I’ve got older,
I think everyone does. Although I
did the skimpy pics and stuff, I was
always a bit of a prude when it
came to talking about sex and stuff.
How come?
I was just young, I guess, and I had
a boyfriend, Mark.
Speaking of Mark and the old
days, will you be taking part in
the rumoured TOWIE reunion?
I’ve read about it in the press, but
no one’s said anything directly to
me about it.
Surely you’d be approached to do
it as you were one of the original
cast members?
Not necessarily. They did something
similar a few years ago, when Markhosted it. I wasn’t asked to be on it then,
but I’d love to do one now.
If you did, would it be weird filming with
the Wright family again?
No, I don’t think so. I think it’d be fine. There’s
no bad blood between us.
When you look back at how Mark treated
you on TOWIE, are you surprised at how
differently your paths have gone?
All of us from the show have gone down
different paths in life, but this is why I’m a
strong person. I’m genuine and real and I
haven’t done anything wrong to anyone. Good
luck to Mark – he’s very career-minded and
he told me from the start that he’d be a star,
and he made it happen. That’s the way it is.
Does that upset you?
Of course not. He was a big part of my life
and I knew him well. I’m happy he’s done
what he had to do. We were the first reality‘Mark told me from
the start that
he’d be a star’
