couple really and it was tough for us. It was
real. It’s not like today when everyone’s fake.
Do you still keep in touch with a lot of the
TOWIE cast?
Yeah, I’m still close to all of them. It’s nice
being on CGD with Chloe Sims, and I spoke
to Gemma Collins the other day.
Were they there for you when your ex Joey
was in prison?
Ferne McCann and I spoke about it because
we have a lot of common ground [Ferne’s ex,
Arthur Collins, was jailed for a nightclub acid
attack]. Hers was a lot worse of a situation
than mine and I really felt for her. She was
pregnant! When I spoke to her she really
confided in me.
‘This feels like
a real comeback
for me’
Were you able to offer her advice?
Of course – and she took comfort from it. It’s
so sad because in an ideal world that wouldn’t
have happened to her and she would’ve been
with him forever. If she’s still in love with him,
20 years is a long time to wait...
The last time we spoke, you were friends
with Joey and had briefly rekindled things
with your other ex, Jake. Is that still the case?
I don’t want to talk about them.
Why not?
Because they’re my exes.
But you were with Jake’s sister on Instagram
Stories the other day?
I just bumped into her on the high street.
She’s a sweet girl and I’m not gonna let her
down by not having a picture with her.
Fair enough. Do you still dream of being
a mum?
It’s no secret that I’d love a family. I’d give
up all of this for a baby and a family, but I
want to do it right and that’s why I haven’t
rushed into anything. I don’t even like fame
sometimes. Being famous comes with a lot
of shit. No one actually knows me. But I hope
CGD will change that. I think I’m hilarious on it!
What would Jake and Joey make of you
doing the show?
They’d be happy I was working, I reckon.
They’re still going to care about me and they’d
know that’s what I’d want.
Are you feeling confident about your body at
the moment?
I hate it. I’m nowhere near where I wanna be.
My routine’s out of whack, I’m filming a lot,
eating shit, drinking a bit and I haven’t trained.
I miss the gym. I will get it back, but I need to
get a routine again. I know what I have to do.
Any plans for more surgery?
I wouldn’t mind taking out my boob implants
- I reckon it’d make me look slimmer. I just
don’t think I can be bothered to do it. I might
just wait ‘til I have a baby. My body’s gonna
change anyway when that happens.
Last time we spoke, you were estranged from
your family. How are things with them now?
Much better now. So much has happened. I’ve
seen my mum and I’m talking to my sisters
again. There was no big row, I just didn’t feel
for a long time that they supported me and I
wanted to let them know that they can’t take
advantage of me. It’s a weight lifted now.
That’s great news. What’s next for you? You
should go on Celebrity X Factor...
I don’t think I’d have the confidence to get up
there now and do it on my own! I wish I wasn’t
like this. There’s so much more I’d be able to
do if I didn’t worry so much. But because I’m
judged so much, I feel like the media has
created this issue in me. I ignore it now, but
how can I do what I really want to do – which
is my music – when they’ll just knock it
anyway? If I did it properly I’d release a single.
Like your mate Katie Price?
Exactly. Every time we’re out together we’re
up on the tables with a mic! I bumped into her
the other day with Jack Fincham, who knows
Katie’s boyfriend Kris [Boyson], while filming
at the agency. I told him, “Wherever we are,
Katie will be singing A Whole New World in
your ear hole.” It’s hilarious. She’s nuts, but
she doesn’t care. She’s happy!
Like you?
Exactly. I’m back. You’re gonna see me out
and about more and I’m feeling good about it
all. I’m happier and stronger than I’ve been in
a long time. Bring it on!
