“Congratulations on the birth of
your baby,” Jay-Z said to Harry, 34,
and nodded towards Meghan, adding
a parenting tip, “The best advice I
can give you, always find some time
for yourself.”
In the past, Beyoncé, who wore
a custom off-the-shoulder Cong Tri
pleated gold gown with a thigh-
baring slit, has publicly advised new
mothers to take it easy post-baby.
“After the birth of my first child, I
believed in the things society said
about how my body should look,” she
told Vogue in September 2018. “I put
pressure on myself to lose all the
baby weight in three months and
scheduled a small tour to assure I
would do it. Looking back, that was
crazy,” she added. “After the twins,
I approached things very differently.”
Noting that she weighed 99kg
when her twins were delivered via
emergency caesarean in June 2017,
“During my recovery I gave myself
self-love and self-care, and I
embraced being curvier. I accepted
what my body wanted to be,” she
wrote in Vogue. “I was patient with
myself and enjoyed my fuller curves.
My kids and husband did, too.”
Still, to get back in shape to

no meat, no fish, no alcohol ...
I’m hungry,” she shares in her
documentary Homecoming.
“I definitely pushed myself
further than I knew I could,”
she reflected. “I will never, never
push myself that far again.”
Meghan, meanwhile, “hasn’t
been in any hurry to get back in
shape,” royals expert Katie Nicholl
told Entertainment Tonight, noting
she has been practising yoga with
her mother, Doria Ragland, 62,
who is a yoga teacher, and walking
in Windsor Great Park. “Gentle
exercise, but no hard training,
no weights,” says Nicholl. “She’s
apparently not in any hurry to ping
back into shape. She’s enjoying this
time. She’s being gentle to herself.”
It seems to be working.
“Meghan looks better now than
she ever has,” a fan tweeted of
her Lion King look. “That post-
pregnancy face, body and glow
is everything.” •
