So just how serious are thetwo?“We
live together, we haven’t spenta nightapart
since. I’m absolutely happy,”shesays.
Valance goes on to explain Bellchambers
isn’t just impressing her – hehasmether
very best friends – and has receivedthe
approval, so much so she’s planningdouble
dates. “We’ve never been lovedupatthe
same time! It’s just nice, we’rebothatthat
time in our lives we’re just chilled.”
Despite the glimmer in hereyes,Valance
laments that their relationshipbeganduring
a very difficult stage – the sametimeshelost
her grandfather. She describesBellchambers’
support as “really amazing, hehascometo
me at a good time in my life”.Still,withher
typical positive attitude, Valancefindsa
silver lining to losing a pillarofstrengthin
her family, 88-year-old DimitriGogos,her
grandfather and founder of thebiggest
Greek newspaper in Australia,NeosKosmos.
“He’s had dementia for a longtime;hewas
ready to go. And it was just sonicetoseehow
respected he was and all the beautifulthings
he did for Australia ... he wasjustthemost
sensational human being. It wasnicetosee
him heavily celebrated in Australia,”shesays.
Getting back to work no doubthelped
Valance cope – alongside hercastmates
Madeleine West, Annie Maynard,Cece
Peters, and Isabella Giovinazzo,whoshe
describes as “the best bunchofwomen”.
The show which has is beingfilmedforits
second season, she says is goingtosurprise
die-hard fans.
“We just did our first weekoffilmingand
it’s outrageous. What we’re doingis
absolutely outrageous, there’sgoingtobe
huge shock value in the first episode,”she
tells WHO. Before issuing a spoileralert,
“No-one gets killed off ... butfanswillnotbe
expecting what happens.”
