Kim Kardashian recently admitted:
“My inspiration for everything has been
Jennifer Lopez. I became obsessed with
glam because of Jennifer.”
Yet unlike the already-wealthy
Kardashians, Jennifer Lynn Lopez wasn’t
born in to a well-connected family or a
moneyed Hollywood lifestyle.
Raised in the Bronx area of New York
City with her two sisters by Puerto Rican
parents, nursery teacher Guadalupe
and computer specialist David Lopez,
the family made huge
sacrifices to pay for her
singing and dancing
lessons.
At 17, she won a

In the showbiz world of impossibly tall
