get outdoors as it
‘encourages confidence’

Discussing his children’s football
skills back in 2016, Prince William
said: ‘George is sort of getting into
it slowly, but Charlotte is showing
more aptitude.’
Luckily, with her three children
letting off steam, Kate – who was
wearing a pink LK Bennett dress
with her Castañer wedges and
red Mulberry bag – had plenty of
snacks for their picnic.
Kate, 37, has spoken previously
about how she likes to ensure her
children enjoy lots of time in the
fresh air for the benefit of both their
mental and physical health. ‘Rain
or shine, they’re dragged outside.
It’s great,’ she said, adding: ‘It


encourages creativity, confidence
and even a short amount of time –
ten or 15 minutes – makes a huge
difference to physical wellbeing but
also to our mental wellbeing.’
Meghan, also 37, who kept her
cool in a loose-fitting khaki maxi
dress by Lisa Marie Fernandez,
greeted Harry, 34, as he came off
the polo field. The duke gently
patted his newborn son who,
having been described by a source
as ‘so sweet and calm’ during his
recent christening, appeared just as
content on his day out.
William’s team triumphed
in the polo match, which was
held in memory of Vichai
Srivaddhanaprabha, who died in
a helicopter crash at Leicester City
