raised money for charities close to William and

Foundation, The Queen’s Commonwealth
Trust, Rhino Conservation Botswana and The
Royal Marsden.
Earlier in the week, Meghan faced a backlash
following claims that her security team had tried
to prevent members of the public from taking
photos of her during a visit to Wimbledon. A
spectator revealed that he was asked to refrain
from pointing his camera at the duchess, but
insisted he was in fact taking a selfie and hadn’t
noticed her sitting in the crowd.
However, there was good news for fans of
the former actress after her Suits co-star Patrick
J Adams revealed that her character will feature
in the final season of the legal drama. Meghan,
who played Rachel Zane in the US show, won’t
be seen on screen, though. ‘There’s phone calls
with Rachel saying: “Goodbye, I love you,”
and you know, I think there’s some obvious
acknowledgment that she’s still there and a
part of the show,’ Patrick said.
Meghan also came under fire from her
estranged dad Thomas Markle last week who
shared his upset at not receiving an invitation
to his grandson’s christening. Asked by
reporters if he would like to have been there
on July 6, he said: ‘Of course I would have
enjoyed being there for the blessing, wishing
Archie and his parents health and happiness.’
His son-in-law Harry, meanwhile, was accused
by sources of being the driving force behind
the decision not to reveal the names of
Archie’s godparents.
